alvicta.ai uses two essential first-party cookies to remember your cookie choice and avoid repeating the welcome message from our chat. We do not use analytics, advertising or remarketing cookies.
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains our position on cookies and similar technologies for alvicta.ai. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers the personal data we receive when you contact us directly (through the enquiry form, live chat, WhatsApp or email).
2. Cookies we use
- alvicta_cookie_choice — retained for 12 months so the site remembers whether you accepted necessary cookies or rejected optional ones.
- alvicta_chat_greeted — retained for your browser session so the chat welcome message does not keep opening as you move around the site.
Both are first-party, essential preference cookies. Choosing “Reject optional” does not reduce site functionality because no optional cookies are currently loaded. We run no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or remarketing tags.
3. Third-party requests
A small number of pages load resources from other providers as a technical necessity of serving the page — for example, this site is hosted on Netlify's infrastructure, and interacting with the live chat widget sends your message to Anthropic's API to generate a reply. These providers may see your IP address as part of delivering that request, but none of them set advertising or tracking cookies on our behalf, and we don't use them to build a profile of you. If you click through to our Instagram, Facebook or TikTok profiles, or use the "book a call" link (which opens a Google Calendar booking page), you leave alvicta.ai — those destinations set their own cookies under their own policies, which we don't control.
4. If this ever changes
If we ever introduce analytics or any other non-essential tracking, it will remain disabled until you actively consent. We will also update this page to describe exactly what was added and why.
